Oil, filters, belt inspection and the checks that catch a problem in a driveway instead of on the trail.
Owner's manual intervals are written around an average rider doing average things, and most machines out here are well past average. Dusty trails load an air filter far faster than the interval suggests, and a filter that is quietly restricted robs power and runs the engine hotter long before anyone notices a problem. The same goes for the CVT belt — heat, low-gear lugging and water crossings age a belt faster than mileage does, which is exactly why checking it on a schedule beats waiting for it to fail.
A tune-up visit is also the point to catch the small stuff before a trip: fluid levels and condition, tire pressure and wear, fasteners that have worked loose over rough miles, lights and electrical that an accessory install may have touched. None of it takes long. All of it is cheaper to find in a shop than on a trailhead forty miles from pavement.
Tell us what you ride and what is going on, and we will match you with a shop that actually works on off-road machines.
Get Matched With a ShopA rough description is plenty — we will follow up to size the job and set a time.
